title sounds cliche, i know. but yet, how true. (:
was a little disappointed about vday initially. knowing that its going to be different this year without the girls. but yesterday was the best day ever, without a doubt. ((: thankyou b, for making it all better. for the little gifts despite them leaving you on the verge of declaring bankruptcy. for the efforts put in. it really meant a lot to me. <3
we took the cable car in &out of sentosa for the first time in years! ((: though the last time i was actually on a cable car was in aussieland abt 8 months ago. &im gonna sound like an idiot but i went on the chairlift/skyride thing &the luge for the first time since they launched it! whee! the chairlift thing scared me like mad, thanks to my little fear for being up in high places with no surrounding 'protection'. :( b had to keep talking to me to distract me. &i made a stupid decision of looking behind me, which scared the poop outta me. :( thankfully, i managed to keep my slippers on! the luge was fun too! except, we kinda cheated a little &stopped halfway down the slope to take photos of our own. =p
took a little walk around like tourists after that, taking cuckoo photos &making a fool of ourselves. the one thing i noticed, was the strange concept of how sentosa thought cows should be. ALL the eyes on the female cows were closed with long eyelashes, while ALL the male cows just looked retarded with super rounded eyes, NO eyelashes &a tongue sticking out. so meaning, all female cows are blind &male cows look cuckoo?? haha not my favourite version of cows.
loved loved loved taking the cable car ride back out at night. im so glad queue for the showers were so super long, hence we got out only at 8plus. sadly though, we didnt managed to go for dinner at the place b planned for us.
b: sorry we cant go there tonight. we'll go some other time. where shall we go for dinner then? everywhere will be packed!
me: i know! lets go to kfc for the VALUE BOX!
b: ??? serious?? OKAY! you're mad. haha. how "romantic".
me: it is what. hahaha.
noo we didnt end up there. but it would've been fun though. haha. im a happyhappygirl! ((: like what ching said, despite everything, its the moment that counts. i agree. despite everything that has happened in the past, all it took was just a day/moment of happiness to make up for everything.
